A new video will hopefully bring answers in the murder of Donny Lohnes.
The 57-year-old was attacked outside his Pine Grove, Lunenburg County home in October, 2020, he later died from his injuries.
The video from RCMP includes a plea from Lohnes’ mother, Jeanne Rhodenizer.
“Please, please come forward if you have information, because we need answers. We’re hoping and praying someone out there smartens up and can help solve this case,” said Rhodenizer.
His brother Danny Lohnes adds: “He was a kind and giving person, all his friends and family know that. Unfortunately that was taken away. Donnie thought the world of everyone.”
More than 125 people have been interviewed and many forensic exams have been performed.
The case has been added to the Nova Scotia Major Unsolved Crimes Program, offering up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
